About Me

Welcome to my page, friend! I’m Megan.

I started a journey to swapping to less toxic things with swapping out my deodorant. I didn’t have many goals beyond that at the time, but I began learning more and making more and more shifts. I’ve learned that each little change adds up and can compound to make a big difference. Everyone is on their own unique journey, but I hope the pieces I share can help you wherever you are.

Although my college years are in the past more than they seem, my majors probably summarize the unique combination of my life. I majored in Psychology and Math, along with some minors thrown in there as well. Psychology is probably where my heart was, but my analytic side loves the structure of math. After college, I had to decide if I’d pursue the psychology or math route. I ended up teaching high school math for just over 4 years before I transitioned to a corporate job (but still in education) where I am now a project manager. I still yearn to pursue more of the psychology side of me so that is where MussBeWell came in!

About MussBeWell

My biggest passion is helping people. MussBeWell is a place to help share tips for better wellness through product swaps, simple food, personal development, and mindset work.

I always thought about starting a blog or a side business but never dedicated the time to narrow down the focus. Shortly after we moved from the Chicagoland to Colorado Spring in 2020, I decided to jump in to the internet world and share on Instagram. Life is forever evolving so I envision this page will evolve as well.

You can expect to find a range of things related to balanced wellness, beauty, business, personal development, mindset, travel and hiking, and more.

That’s a little bit about me and MussBeWell for now but stay tuned for the next step that’ll really tie it all together. More to come in 2022.

Even More About Megan!

I was born and raised in the Chicagoland area, but moved to Colorado with my husband and pup, Aspen. Travel and outdoors are huge passions of mine.

Organization is my strong suit, but helping people is where my heart really is. I’ve explored many options for multiple streams of income, including tutoring, coaching, crafts, travel blogging, and wedding planning. I never thought where I’d settle would be selling beauty products, but I believe I am where I am meant to be.

If you know me, you would probably know that hair and beauty are certainly not my expertise. The amazing thing is that expertise isn’t necessary. When you join the business, you join an amazing team that provides the support and resources necessary. The reason I am so passionate about this opportunity is because it’s much more than shampoo and skincare. The biggest passion of mine is helping people and this team puts a huge emphasis on on mindset and personal growth.
